Our services at a glance
- Training of staff: this can be tailored to suit the school and the level of knowledge of staff. Ideas of training the school may choose from are: typical language development; mainstream core standards and impact for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN); strategies for use in the classroom; setting up language groups; what is Developmental Language Disorder?
- Team Teaching: including joint planning of lessons and sharing of ideas, research and delivery of the lesson
- Assessment, advice and therapy for individual children or groups of children
- Project work: this could be a project that the school has been considering regarding a specific group of children with SLCN, e.g. Tier-two vocabulary teaching and its impact on engagement in lessons.
